Masjid Launceston

The House of Guidance is a non-for-profit organisation founded by a group of motivated Muslims to help our community in Launceston. Our mission is to build a cohesive society and promote the unity amongst all Australians based on mutual respect and tolerance between different groups. We see our Masjid not simply as a house of worship with walls, a roof and open doors. Rather, we believe that that is actually the members and believers that come together for the sake of God to learn and practice his words, understand his commandments and extend his gifts. Our aims are derived from the noble Islamic teaching of spreading peace, helping the needy and bringing people together.
