Masjid al-Furqan, West Cobb Islamic Center, Inc.

West Cobb Islamic Center is serving as a Masjid (Mosque), school, and a gathering place for the Muslim community in Georgia. Masjid Al-Furqan is located on Ernest Barrett Parkway in Marietta, GA. Our new facility consist of a main musullah (prayer hall) and a sisters’ musallah area and a children’s room. Masjid Al-Furqan offers Juma’a prayer (Friday prayer), Sunday School for muslim children. The masjid also conducts social services such as zakaat and sadaqa (alms and charity) distribution and refugee assistance. Masjid Al-Furqan participates in many social activities, such as community picnics, hiking through Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, and community outreach with the Christian, Jewish and other faith based communities.
