Al Jamatul Muslimin Mosque Northampton

Al-Jamatul-Muslimin of Bangladesh Mosque and Community Centre at 8 St George’s Street was established in 1984. The organisation previously operated from 43 Argyle Street in St. James, the first Mosque in Northamptonshire.
No. 8 St George’s Street is a Grade II listed building which has served the towns growing Muslim population since it was opened both as a Community Centre and Mosque. Today, it is primarily used for religious purposes. As well as holding the 5 times prayers, there is accommodation for evening Arabic classes, space for women and young people and a purpose built dead-body washing facilities.
